When I expressed some doubts about painting Kali, Divine Mother said, “You need to know ALL of me!”

I discovered that Kali is the dance of the Absolute, the black hole of creation. Bubbles arise from her belly and give birth to Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. At every moment the creation emerges from her and dissolves back into her.

She is also worshiped as Goddess of the cremation grounds. Souls arise from the pyres and fly into her mouth, into her unity.

She is the slayer of ego, giving rise to universality.

It’s good to have Kali on your side and receive the blessings of her light.
