Wonderwoman

by Dwora Fried

At first glance, my boxes look like miniature dollhouse rooms but this latest series has a lot of personal meaning for me.

Wonderwoman hovers over this ruin of a room, it is a costume my daughter wore while working at a party store, while battling severe depression.

The sewing machine represents my mother, who survived concentration camps sewing Nazi uniforms.

Finally at the left, a photo of my son who took his life ten years ago.

I love them all.
